NETWorks Cooperative Ministry is partnering with the City of Tucker again to distribute the latest round of federal COVID-19 relief. The City of Tucker has designated 1.2 million dollars of financial aid from the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act to provide residential housing and utility assistance for Tucker residents.

Program eligibility requirements include

  • owning or renting a residence within the city limits of Tucker, GA

  • earning less than $49,440 (for a single household) +$6,600 for each additional member of the household (see chart below for income eligibility levels)

  • a demonstrated financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic

  • housing and/or utility arrears incurred between Mar 15, 2020 and Feb 28, 2022

All applicants must apply online and will be required to provide verification of income, the city's Covid Declaration, and documentation of homelessness or housing insecurity. An assigned case manager will help ensure that applicants understand the process and submit all the necessary paperwork.

Either landlords or tenants may apply independently, and both parties will be required to participate in the process regardless of who applies.
